Today was full of shocking discoveries and bright ideas as our young scientists explored the wonders of electricity and renewable energy! 🔌💡🌿
In the morning, students were introduced to the basics of electric circuits—what they are, how they work, and why they matter. After a fun demo, they paired up and received different fruits and vegetables 🍋🥔🥕 to test whether these natural materials could conduct electricity. With wires, mini bulbs, and lots of curiosity, they built their own circuits and made hypotheses: Will the light turn on? Some bulbs lit up, some didn’t—but the learning sparked everywhere!
In the afternoon, it was time to harness wind energy! 💨 Using small fans, wires, and bulbs, students created their own wind-powered circuits. They built and tested their models, then experimented by blowing air at different speeds to light up the bulb. It was an electrifying way to understand how wind can generate power—and how fun science can be!
