“Sink or Float (Density Tower)”
Today, our young scientists explored the fascinating concept of density through a hands-on experiment! Students learned about the density differences between three liquids and tested which objects would sink or float in each layer.
During this activity: â€Ē Children identified materials including bottles, oil, water, and honey â€Ē Created their own “density towers” by pouring the three liquids into one container and watching them form distinct layers â€Ē Tested various objects to see which would sink or float in different layers â€Ē Compared results with classmates and discovered which liquids had higher density
